Delete Your SquadChatter Account

There are two ways to permanently delete your SquadChatter account.

In-App Deletion (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account:

1. Open SquadChatter
2. Tap your avatar in the top-left corner
3. Tap Profile
4. Scroll to the bottom
5. Tap Delete Account
6. Confirm by tapping Delete Account in the confirmation dialog

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.

Request Deletion by Email

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:

1. Send an email to legal@squadchatter.com from the email address associated with your account
2. Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
3. Include your display name to help us locate your account

We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

• Your profile (display name, email, avatar)
• All channel and organization memberships
• Uploaded images (profile avatar, channel covers, org logos)
• Your role assignments and activity history

Note: Voice transmissions are never stored and do not need deletion. Content you posted in shared spaces (channel names you created, announcements you wrote) may persist in anonymized form if the channel still has other members.
